TACTICAL ASSESSMENTS

Faction Tactical Assessments are the one material that separates a decent endgame build from a properly optimized one. Every time you find a piece of gear with the right attributes but mediocre numbers, Tactical Assessments are what let you push those numbers to their maximum possible values. Without them, your gear stays stuck below its ceiling no matter how good the rest of your build is.

Faction Tactical Assessments in The Division 2 — Fast Farming Service

The problem is that each faction type drops only from its own faction’s bosses — and that’s not something you can shortcut. You need Hyenas assessments? You run Hyenas bounties. Need Black Tusk? You hunt Black Tusk bosses. Getting a full stack of even one type takes a serious amount of time, and the cap is 999 per type, with six types total. That math adds up fast when you’re trying to max out a full build.

Most players hit this wall somewhere in the endgame. You’ve got the gear, you know exactly what needs optimizing, and then you realize you have 40 Cleaners assessments when you need 400. The crafting route exists, but the material cost is steep enough that many players consider it a last resort. Bounty farming is more efficient — but it’s also repetitive and gated by bounty availability and respawn timers.

That’s what this service is for. We farm the exact faction type and quantity you need, on your platform, and deliver fast. You get the materials, we handle the grind.

What Are Faction Tactical Assessments and Why Do They Matter?

Tactical Assessments were added to The Division 2 with Title Update 12, alongside the Optimization Station — a system that lets you raise individual gear attributes beyond the value they dropped with, all the way up to their hard maximum. Before this system existed, you were stuck with whatever the RNG gave you. Now there’s a direct path to max rolls, and Tactical Assessments are the key resource that gates it.

There are six types in total, each tied to one of the game’s main factions. The type you need depends on the gear slot you want to optimize:

Faction Tactical Assessment Optimizes
Outcasts Outcast LMGs + Kneepads
True Sons True Sons Assault Rifles + Backpacks
Hyenas Hyenas SMGs + Masks
Black Tusk Black Tusk Rifles, Pistols + Chests
Cleaners Cleaners Marksman Rifles + Gloves
Rikers Rikers Shotguns + Holsters

The cap for each type is 999, and none of them can be traded with other players. That means every single assessment in your inventory has to be earned — either through gameplay or through a service like this one. There’s no auction house, no player market, no shortcut built into the game itself.

One important thing to get right before you start spending assessments: lock in the talent you want on a piece before you optimize its attributes. Changing a talent after optimization carries a heavy extra cost in resources, and most experienced players will tell you they learned this the hard way.

How to Farm Faction Tactical Assessments in The Division 2 — All Sources Explained

There are five ways to get Tactical Assessments in the game, and they’re not all equal in terms of efficiency.

Open-world bounties
Are the most reliable method for targeting a specific faction type. After clearing a control point or rescuing a hostage, you can pick up a bounty from the nearby NPC and chase down the named boss. The faction of that boss determines which assessment type drops — so if you need True Sons materials, you target True Sons bounties. This is repetitive by design, but it's the most controllable farming loop.
Mission and Summit final bosses
Also drop Tactical Assessments, and higher difficulties give larger stacks per run. This is worth doing if you're already running content at Heroic or Legendary difficulty, since you're getting assessments as a side benefit rather than grinding specifically for them.
Optimization Caches
Can be purchased from the Countdown vendor in the White House for 145 Countdown Requisitions each. These caches drop a random assortment of optimization materials, so they're good for topping up your supply but not reliable for targeting one specific faction type.
Crafting at the Crafting Bench
Is technically always available, but it costs a lot of base materials. During the Optimization Surge event, crafting yields double the usual amount — but that event runs for only 7 days per season, so you can't count on it being active when you need it.
Rogue agents in the Dark Zone
Drop Tactical Assessment materials too. The final rogue in a sequence drops a random stack, but this is a low-volume source compared to dedicated bounty runs — and the Dark Zone adds its own layer of friction.

The math is simple: if you want to optimize multiple pieces of gear across your build, you’re looking at hundreds to thousands of assessments per session. Bounty farming one type at a time is the most predictable method, but it takes hours per attribute you want to max.

What You Can Actually Do With Faction Tactical Assessments

Getting the materials is only half of it. Knowing how to use them properly is what makes the difference between wasting 300 assessments and actually capping out a stat.

The Optimization Station — accessed through the Tinkering menu at the Recalibration Station — lets you raise any attribute on a weapon or gear piece step by step toward its maximum value. Each step costs a set amount of assessments, alloys or weaves (depending on whether it’s a weapon or gear piece), and Field Recon Data. The process is incremental, meaning you can stop and resume at any point, but each step brings you closer to the stat ceiling.

This is especially useful when a piece drops with exactly the talent and attribute combination you want, but the numbers are below average. Rather than replacing the entire item, you can keep it and push the values up over time. That’s the core appeal of the system — it rewards patience and resources, not just RNG luck.

A few things to keep in mind before you start:

  • Decide on your talent before optimizing. Once you’ve put assessments into a piece, swapping the talent later is expensive.
  • Named items and Exotics follow slightly different rules. The first two attributes can be optimized normally. The third attribute on Exotics is handled through recalibration at the Crafting Bench, not the Optimization Station.
  • Weapons and gear use different supporting materials alongside the assessments — alloys for weapons, weaves for gear — so make sure you have enough of both before starting a long optimization session.

Fully optimizing a god-rolled piece of gear is one of the most satisfying things in The Division 2’s endgame. It’s also a significant resource investment, which is exactly why having a ready supply of Tactical Assessments matters.

What's Included in Our Division 2 Tactical Assessments Farming Service

We farm the faction type and quantity you specify, delivered directly to your account. Here’s exactly what the service covers:

  • Your chosen faction type(s) farmed to the amount you select
  • Available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox — all platforms supported
  • Piloted delivery only: a professional player logs into your account and runs the bounties
  • Real-time progress updates via Discord or live chat
  • All loot collected during the farm stays on your account — Named Items, Exotics, SHD XP, and Proficiency progress all carry over as a bonus

The process is straightforward. You place your order, select the faction type and quantity, and a booster gets assigned within minutes of payment. You’ll get updates as the farm progresses, and once it’s done you’ll be notified by email and chat.

What you need before ordering:

  • An active Division 2 account at the endgame stage
  • 2-step verification temporarily disabled during the service window (standard practice — re-enable it as soon as we’re done)

Delivery time for most orders is 3–6 hours from when the booster starts. Depending on the quantity ordered and current queue, full delivery takes 1–4 days. Your manager will confirm the schedule before anything begins.

Frequently Asked Questions About Division 2 Tactical Assessments

How many Tactical Assessments does it take to fully optimize a piece of gear?
It depends on how far below maximum the attribute rolled and what type of item it is. A single attribute optimization from a low roll to the max can consume several hundred assessments across multiple steps. That's part of why the per-type cap is set at 999 — fully optimizing a build burns through stock fast.
Can I trade Tactical Assessments with other players?
No. All six faction types are account-bound and cannot be traded. That's what makes farming them time-consuming and why a dedicated service is the only way to speed up the process without doing the bounty runs yourself.
Which type do I need to optimize SMGs?
Hyenas Tactical Assessments cover SMGs and Masks. If you're running an SMG build and need to max out the weapons in your loadout, Hyenas bounties are your target.
Can I order multiple faction types in one order?
Yes. During checkout you can specify multiple types and quantities, and we'll farm all of them in a single service window.
Is the service safe?
All farming is done manually — no bots, no scripts, no third-party tools. We use a VPN matched to your region during account access. We've processed thousands of orders without a single ban or suspension. You can re-enable 2-step verification as soon as the order is complete.
What happens to loot collected during the farm?
Everything stays on your account. Named Items, Exotics, crafting materials, and any other drops that happen during the bounty runs are yours to keep.

Stop Running Bounties for Hours — Get Your Assessments Fast

Faction Tactical Assessments are one of those resources that feel fine to farm for the first hour and genuinely miserable by the third. The bounty loop is the same every time: clear a control point, pick up a bounty, hunt the boss, collect a small stack, repeat. When you need hundreds of assessments across multiple faction types to finish a build, that loop stops feeling like gameplay and starts feeling like a chore.

The worst part is the faction lock. If you need Cleaners assessments for your Marksman Rifle and you’re farming the wrong area, every run is wasted. You can’t stockpile a generic currency and convert it later. You can’t trade with other players. Every assessment has to come from the right faction, which means your farming route has to be precise, and your patience has to hold out long enough to actually get there.

Most players who hit this wall have the same experience: the gear is ready, the build is planned, and the only thing standing between where they are and a fully optimized loadout is a mountain of repetitive bounties. Some push through it. Some put the build on hold and move on to something else. Some come back weeks later and find the grind is still waiting for them exactly where they left it.

That’s the gap this service fills. You select the faction type — or multiple types — and the quantity you need, and we run the bounties for you. The materials land in your account. Your gear gets optimized. You skip straight to the part where you’re actually playing with a finished build instead of farming toward one.

We support all platforms, process orders quickly, and keep you updated the whole way through. Most orders are done in a single session. The only thing left for you to do is log back in and get to the Optimization Station.
