Weapon Balance Changes
Venator Pistol Nerf
The Venator — infamous for melting players at close range — has been adjusted:
-
Fire-rate upgrade bonus reduced from 22/44/60% → 13/26/40%.
-
Weight increased from 2 kg → 5 kg.
The goal is to discourage “mag-dumping” and reward precise shooting.
Explosive Weapon Adjustments
Explosives were unintentionally damaging too many enemy parts at once.
Fixes include:
-
Reduced unintended multi-hit on large ARCs.
-
More precise hit detection.
-
Hullcracker tuned to require cleaner aim.
Economy & Crafting Rework
- Deadline Mine:
Buy price: 8100 → 15000 Coins
Sell price: 3000 → 5000
Crafting now requires:
- Explosive Compound
- ARC Circuitry
- Store stock reduced from 3 → 1
- Launcher Ammo:
New store price: 6 ammo for 4500 Coins
Crafting now requires:
- ARC Motion Core
- Crude Explosives
- General Adjustments:
Power Cell sell price reduced (640 → 270 Coins).
Launcher ammo can now be crafted without a blueprint at the Workbench.
This shifts the overall value of explosives and makes them more expensive and more strategic.
Movement & Enemy Behavior Improvements
The Shredder enemy received upgraded movement logic:
-
Better turning
-
Better braking
-
Better cornering
-
Improved target detection and precision
This makes close-quarters fights less predictable and more skill-based.
Map & UI Fixes
-
Fixed ARCs calling reinforcements outside map boundaries.
-
Dam Battleground elevator issues resolved.
-
Stella Montis train station “fall through the map” hole fixed.
-
Spaceport bunker walls corrected.
-
Trial Weekly UI now displays accurate rank and rewards.
-
Crash fixes for older CPUs and scavenge zones.
Raider Den Duck Feature
The player community has memed ducks into oblivion — collecting hundreds while being able to display only nine.
Update 1.3.0 finally expands duck display support.
It’s a cute quality-of-life change, but honestly, players begged for it… loudly.
Why This Update Matters
-
It removes one of the most overpowered weapons in the game (Venator).
-
It rewrites crafting value and economy pacing.
-
It tightens the meta around explosives and ARCs.
-
It fixes long-standing mobility and map issues.
-
It adds small but meaningful cosmetic/QoL bonuses.
This is a “course-correcting patch” — not just bug fixing.
