This is the option to pick if you’re chasing a Tier 6 set bonus or a specific Archimonde or Azgalor drop that’s been eluding you in pugs. Battle for Mount Hyjal Bosses — Full Encounter List
Mount Hyjal has exactly five bosses, and you fight them in a fixed order every single time. There’s no skipping ahead and no picking off the easy ones first. The first two guard the Alliance camp under Jaina Proudmoore, the next two guard the Horde camp under Thrall, and the last one waits alone near Nordrassil once both camps are cleared.
The difficulty curve here is steep. Rage Winterchill and Anetheron are mostly about positioning and staying out of bad spots on the ground. Kaz’rogal turns into a mana check that punishes sloppy healing rotations. Azgalor demands real healing output on top of add control. Archimonde throws all of that out and replaces it with a single rule: nobody dies, or the whole raid pays for it.
Trash isn’t optional either. Each of the first four bosses sits behind eight scripted waves, 32 waves total before you reach the final boss. A wipe on any wave resets that entire eight-wave block, which is the main reason pug groups burn through hours without ever seeing a boss.
Tier 6 Gear & Item Levels You Can Get in Mount Hyjal

Which token group you need depends on your class: Protector covers Warriors, Hunters, and Shamans, Vanquisher covers Rogues, Mages, and Druids, and Conqueror covers Paladins, Priests, and Warlocks. Loot Priority buyers get first pick at the token that matches their class whenever it drops.
